“I write, I study things that interest me, draw things that I don’t find out about until it’s too late,  build things that interest me while I’m building them and not when I’m not. I play bass guitar, have read To Kill a Mockingbird once a year since 1969 and seem to have lost interest in explaining why I do this. I’m a Krav Maga master practitioner and instructor, dad, step-dad, grand-dad, husband, retired Department of Interdisciplinary Studies professor and chair, current Academy-loather, shaving-foam latherer, wild scallion gatherer, too-frequent blatherer.  I am currently listening to Jaco Pastorius’ Word of Mouth, but that could change.”
