Frederic Evans
Frederic Evans, a peripatetic gentleperson, wrote and collaborated under many names, not all of them fit for decent company. A native of New York, he studied linguistics at Swarthmore College and Brown University, ultimately living and working in Massachusetts. He was active in the Society of Friends. After his death, a quantity of his ashes were hidden on a westbound train. His symbolic jewelry was hurled into bodies of water world-wide.
